Rules for the 100 Club 1. Adopted at a meeting of the Club Committee on 7th July 2008. 2. The private lottery run by Halifax Vandals RUFC shall be known as the 100 Club. 3. The promoter of the 100 Club shall be the Chairman of the club. 4. Membership of the 100 Club is open to all members and friends of Halifax Vandals RUFC. 5. The 100 Club shall not be limited to 100 members. 6. Members may have and are encouraged to have multiple subscriptions 7. Membership of the 100 Club shall be granted upon payment of subscriptions as shall be determined from time to time by the Club Committee. Subscriptions must be made by monthly standing order in advance and such payments are not returnable. 8. Members will pay £5 per month, per chance. The prize fund will be 35% of the monthly subscriptions, up to a maximum of £175 per month. All remaining revenue will go to the benefit of Halifax Vandals RUFC. 9. A Member is eligible for inclusion in the draw for any month so long as the subscription for that month has been paid. 10. Each Member will be allocated a number which will serve as a chance in each of the lottery draws. Each Member is allocated a permanent number in the monthly draw. This number shall remain the Member’s provided their subscription is up to date. 11. Tickets will not be issued. Members may discover the number of their allocated chance by application to the Chairman, Halifax Vandals RUFC. 12. The draw for each month shall be made as close to the end of each month as arrangements reasonably allow. 13. The draws will be made at the Halifax Vandals RUFC clubhouse by person(s) appointed by the Club Committee and in the presence of at least 3 club members. 14. For each draw there will be one prize of 20% of lottery revenue (max £100), one prize of 10% lottery revenue (max £50) and one prize of 5% lottery revenue (max £25). These prizes may be varied by a resolution of the Club Committee. Any variation of these prizes will be notified via the club website and/or notice board. 15. The 100 Club administrators will make all reasonable efforts to pay prizes to the winners within two weeks of the draw. If a prize winner cannot be contacted within 2 months, the prize will go to the benefit of Halifax Vandals RUFC. 16. A prize is not transferable and shall only be paid to the individual who purchased the winning chance. 17. The decision of the Club Committee shall be final in all matters requiring adjudication. The Club Committee shall also have the power to amend or revoke these rules at their absolute discretion with notice of such being made via the club website and/or notice board. 18. The Chairman and the Club Committee shall be responsible for the correct termination of the 100 Club. In the event of the 100 Club being terminated notification shall be via the club website and/or notice board.
